The purpose and design of the Summit series is to strengthen the global community of entrepreneurship and innovation educators by creating opportunities for ongoing dialogue and shared best practices. During the February 2022 Summit, Summit Chairman Jerry Engel conducted a fireside chat with Rich Lyons, the Chief Innovation and Entrepreneurship Officer of the University of California at Berkeley to discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by the Lean Innovation Educators community.

Steve Blank, Jerry Engel, Pete Newell, and Steve Weinstein hosted the 5th edition of the Lean Innovation Educators Summit on February 3rd, 2022.
The event focused on the role of the university and other important organizations in supporting the critical mission of preparing the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.
Professor Lyons shared his view of the opportunities and challenges faced by Lean Innovation Educators, and members of the community convened from around the globe.
