About the Summit Series
The Lean Innovation Educators Summit is designed to model the methodologies we teach, as we conduct beneficiary discovery with our fellow Lean LaunchPad educators to improve our courses. A key aspect of teaching the Lean LaunchPad methodology is encouraging students to “get out of the classroom” and talk to others. That’s exactly what we as Lean educators strive to do ourselves at the Summit.
By engaging with leaders from around the world in entrepreneurship, academia, investing, and government we are able to recognize the emerging trends in business models, innovation, and technology. These learnings can ultimately be translated into opportunities for our students.
In addition to improving our own teaching methodologies, this platform allows us to address and incorporate pressing social issues into our courses. We continue to incorporate information and resources on the economic recovery from the pandemic, the opportunities to serve under-resourced communities through entrepreneurship, and the critical need to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion within entrepreneurship.
Designed by Educators, for Educators
The annual Lean Innovation Educators Summit is designed by educators, for educators, and we ensure that our superb community of Lean educators are at the forefront of each event. This year, CMP has reworked the format to better engage with our community. We are now able to directly collaborate with our thought leaders, capture their feedback in real time, and in doing so, help facilitate the next generation of educators materials, events, and everything educators do in order to improve the student experience and outcomes.
As part of this experience, CMP solicits problems experienced both in and out of the classroom in order to inform discussions around key topical areas of the summit. Each invite contains a link to our online collaboration space where educational partners are able to submit their questions, challenges, and feedback. This feedback will inform the content of the presentations, post-event white papers, and the curriculum delivered to our educator community.
