CONVENE
Building the Future, Across Common Missions.
At the heart of national progress is the ability to bring the right people together at the right time—and move.
Convene is how the Common Mission Project accelerates alignment across government, academia, and industry.
Each convening is designed with one goal: to unlock momentum around the technologies, leaders, and systems that will shape America’s future.
For the past decade, we’ve deliberately operated under the radar—running private, high-trust events that have quietly influenced how the U.S. discovers, develops, and deploys emerging capabilities. Now, we're making that work visible—not to scale noise, but to scale what works.
We don’t host conferences. We build catalytic environments for decision-makers to solve hard problems, set shared direction, and architect what comes next. From summits like Red Queen to outcome-driven gatherings like Educator Summit and NSIE, Convene is where strategic clarity meets real execution.

Equipping Universities to Power America’s Future
Educator Summit 2025 is a convening of academic leaders, curriculum designers, and innovation-focused educators committed to rethinking how we prepare students for national impact. As traditional models of higher education strain to keep pace with the complexity of today’s challenges, this summit will focus on embedding problem-driven learning and entrepreneurial execution into the core of university programs. Through facilitated working sessions, participants will co-develop practical tools and strategies that translate directly to classroom implementation.
We believe universities are engines of national progress—capable of shaping not just students, but the trajectory of the country. At Educator Summit 2025, we’ll define how higher education can play a decisive role in strengthening America’s security, prosperity, and resilience.

Revolutionizing Defense Education Through Innovation
Our inaugural event, NSIE 2025 is an exclusive, invite-only working summit that convenes key leaders from defense and academia to tackle a critical shortfall in U.S. national security education. As China systematically integrates defense innovation into its high school curriculum, the U.S. remains challenged by its fragmented approach to preparing future warfighters, policymakers, and defense leaders for rapid technological change.
At the summit—hosted at Stanford University, guests will develop a scalable, repeatable model for embedding innovation into professional military education and university programs, focusing on two critical questions:
-
"How to build a disruptive education system that produces leaders capable of driving innovation at modern speeds" and,
-
"What the repeatable model is for embedding problem-driven learning and entrepreneurial execution into these programs"

Where Builders and Defenders Shape the Future
Red Queen 2025 is a closed-door gathering of senior defense leaders, visionary founders, and strategic investors working at the edge of geopolitical, technological, and industrial transformation. Set against the backdrop of accelerating global competition, Red Queen is where decision-makers convene not to react to the future, but to shape it—collaboratively building the connective tissue between national security imperatives and the emerging technologies that will define them.
This is not a conference. It is a forum for alignment among those charged with reimagining the nation’s ability to deter, adapt, and outpace adversaries. Through off-the-record dialogue, targeted engagements, and immersive technology sessions, Red Queen charts the pathways where policy, capital, and capability converge—accelerating what must come next.

Revealing What’s Possible—and Deployable
Our Tech Showcase is a curated, closed-door experience where breakthrough frontier and dual-use technologies meet the leaders who can fund, field, and scale them. Designed for an executive audience of investors, defense operators, and national security decision-makers, the showcase highlights venture-backed startups building solutions at the intersection of emerging capability and mission-critical need.
These are not product demos—they are strategic signals. Each company selected embodies a potential shift in how the U.S. maintains advantage across domains. The showcase enables high-trust, no-fluff conversations that cut through bureaucracy and hype, creating direct lines between innovators and institutions with the mandate to deploy.
